Our Story

Neil and Robin Krause have been married for over 39 years and live in Colorado Springs, CO with their three kids and eleven grandkids.

Neil and Robin Krause met while working for the City Finance Department as Neil prepared to enter the Police Academy in El Cajon, CA. They married in 1985, and Neil went on to serve 12 years in law enforcement with both the Police and Sheriff’s Department. During their time at Calvary Chapel Alpine, Neil felt a strong calling from the Lord to leave his career in law enforcement and enter the mission field. Trusting in God’s provision, he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies at Bible College and was later ordained by Calvary Chapel Alpine.

During Bible College, Neil and Robin experienced firsthand the Lord’s faithfulness in providing for their family. After graduating, they were invited to oversee an elementary school, Toledo Christian Academy (TCA), in Belize. Embracing the life of missionaries, they moved to Belize with their three children, then ages 9, 10, and 11, who attended school alongside local students. For five years, they lived on campus, navigating the challenges of scorpions, vipers, and even a hurricane, while faithfully serving as a missionary family.

In 2003, they returned to the United States to help their children transition back into American culture. Over the next several years, they served in three different Calvary Chapel churches in California before relocating to Colorado Springs in 2010. There, Neil served as a Family Pastor, and Robin directed the Children’s Ministry for 12 years.

Now, God has called them into a new season—focusing fully on biblical counseling and training. With ACBC certification and eight years of dedicated counseling experience, Neil has committed to helping individuals, marriages, and families through biblical counsel. Robin has come alongside him in ministry, offering guidance to wives and mothers. Together, they have taught courses on parenting, marriage, and premarital preparation.

K-Haus Biblical Counsel is the next chapter of their journey—an opportunity to continue serving the body of Christ through nouthetic counseling, discipleship, and training for the next generation of biblical counselors.

This ministry wasn’t built out of mere ambition—it was born from a deep conviction that people need the truth of God’s Word to navigate life’s struggles. Over the years, through ministry work in the local church, coaching, and discipleship, we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals in seasons of brokenness, uncertainty, and growth. Whether through one-on-one conversations, teaching, or simply sharing life with others, we’ve seen how biblical counsel has the power to bring clarity, healing, and transformation.

Our calling is deeply personal. It’s not just about offering wisdom or advice—it’s about pointing people back to Christ, the true source of hope and restoration. We’ve seen firsthand how the Gospel meets people in their pain, how God’s truth brings freedom, and how the local church thrives when its members are equipped to care for one another biblically. This ministry is an extension of that calling—to train, equip, and support individuals and churches in offering counsel that is firmly rooted in Scripture. It’s a journey of faith, and we’re humbled to be a part of it.
